Working as a Senior Professor (January 2024-June 2024) in the Department of Architecture & Planning, Indian Institute of Technology-Roorkee, India, since 2014; working as Professor from 2014 - 2024; Associate Professor from 2005 – 2014; and as Assistant Professor from 1996-2004 in the same department. I have been handling the following subjects as Housing, Ecology, Urban Dynamics, Urban & Rural Economics, Urban Land Economics, Urban Planning Design, Planning Legislation, Rural Planning & Development, Regional Planning, Planning Theories & Techniques, and Technical Communication, etc. at the Postgraduate & Doctoral levels. Besides these, I have been handling Building Economics and Urban Planning subjects at the undergraduate level for a few years in the department.

I worked as a Visiting Fellow under the U.G.C.’s Visiting Fellow Scheme at the Rural Development Centre, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu, for two weeks (from March 23 to April 05, 2015), in the year 2015.
